Locating Drop Shippers

Everybody knows about searching for drop shippers through the World Wide Web search engine like Google for example. Type in drop shippers UK in Google and about 3,160,000 results will appear. You’re probably saying which one do I use? First of all I would narrow the search down by looking for something you are interested in. Most people when starting out tend to just check the first page. Don’t just stop there keep searching as far back as you want too. You might be surprised at what you can find. Be different don’t follow the herd and stay at page one. Once you have located a few remember to do your research on them. (See earlier posts) Another good way of checking potential drop shippers out is to type the name in Google or other search engines, followed by scam. Also find some forums which can also advise you if the drop shipper is legit or not.

Another road to go down is to grab the yellow pages and look for all the wholesalers that sell what you are interested in. The tip here is to ask them if they drop ship. Don’t be put off if they say no. Some wholesalers believe it or not don’t know about drop shipping. Other wholesalers don’t advertise that they drop ship and if you are lucky to find one or two of them you have struck gold. Reason I say that is this means they won’t have hundreds of people drop shipping with them. This then leaves you with scoop for more profit. After you have exhausted the yellow pages there is another way to try and find drop shippers.

Believe me that not all wholesalers advertise themselves on the web or yellow pages. You will need a car or a friend who can drive you round the local industrial sites and look for wholesalers you haven’t come across or heard of before. If you’re too shy to pop in and ask if they drop ship see if they have any contacts outside their warehouse. Personally I would pop in and ask. Hopefully you will find a couple and realise you have more chance of profit than others who only use the web.

Don’t just rely on an already saturated web site for drop shippers think outside of the box. Another thing to mention as well is, if the wholesalers don’t drop ship and you have a few hundred pounds of investment to spend, you just might gab yourself a few bargains.
