I have mentioned before about moving away from ebay and starting your own website to sell your products or combine the two until your website is established. There are numerous ecommerce packages out there and you need to proceed with caution so you don't get lumbered with a package your not happy with. Apart from the ecommerce site you will of course need a domain name which should be .com as you want to be selling worldwide and also get the .co.uk as well. You can get a domain name from 123.reg.co.uk or godaddy.com to name two sites out there. For ease of reference i will use 123.reg.co.uk to talk about starting your online ecommerce website. They have deals were if you get the domain name they will host it for you as well but you don't have to its a option. Where you host is down to you. Most people I know sell on eBay, Amazon, facebook as well as have their own web site. They are using ebay and others as a solid base to start.
