Apache AH-64 Feral-Beast 4ch RC Helicopter with 2.4GHz Remote Control

Here you have another example of what you can drop ship. The Apache Radio Controlled helicopter.
This is the second generation Apache RC helicopter from GT MODEL. It was designed using the latest CAD technology and ultra tough, high quality materials. The Helicopter has a very strong structure, the main rotor blades are made of top quality plastic that doesn't break easily and is very flexible. The body of the Apache is made from the same grade plastic and incorporates carbon fibre components. The 4 channel RC Apache Feralbeast AH-64 Helicopter is stable and robust, giving you complete control of its flight. It can be flown inside or outside, if the weather is calm enough.

It comes with 4 channel radio equipment, this means it can move in eight directions - left, right, backwards, forwards, up, down and rotate either left or right on its axis, so it moves just like a real helicopter. But don't let that intimidate you, it's very easy to fly, so can also makes a good first helicopter.
The Helicopter features co-axial rotor technology, flight stabilizing system, 2 motors and 2.4 GHz 4CH transmitter. The Apache AH64 RC helicopter will fly over 50m high with flight range of over 100m.
Not only can you drop the above but you can also drop ship all the spare parts for this model and other models.

Ebay Shop And Your Web Site.

I have mentioned drop shipping as this is what the blog is really about. But depending on wether you drop ship or not you will need a ebay shop if your selling on there and a web site to save money from not selling on ebay. Does this sound confusing will it isn't let me break it down for you.
You take the plunge and start selling on ebay and open a shop. This makes you look more professional and hopefully the niche your selling does well. As you become more successful you should be looking at your own website so your regular customers can buy from there saving them money plus save you money on ebay fees as well. The shop on ebay is your big shop window which attracts people from all over. Before all this you need to give yourself a shop name one that will be your domain name also. When you have decided on a name make sure both the .co.uk & .com are both available. You need both don't settle for less. Most sellers on ebay have both of these and use both methods to good effect. They sell on ebay and then use a link to drive customers to their web site and also put leaflets in the items they sell advertising their web site also. If you do get a web site make sure like your ebay shop it is professional as first mpressions count. You don't need to spend thousands nor do you want to do it cheaply either. Take a god look round ask for advice and read reviews on the company you decide to pick. As i have mentioned before research is the key.

Drop Shipping My Experience

The first time i done dropshipping I looked for something I was interested in, which was computers.
I found a dropshipper who done computers spares accessories etc. This dropshipper charged a monthly fee, which at first I was a bit concerned about. I done all the checks and signed up to his site.
Got my first order sent to a friends house to check the parcel had no signs of his site etc and to check the quality of the packaging. Passed on both accounts. Started looking on ebay to see what other sellers were selling for example a graphics card. After taking out the fees and posting & packaging I would make around 10% profit when i sold one. The fees are broken up in this,
1) Instalment fee
2) Final value fee
3) Paypal fee
The buyer has to pay for the p&p which is included in the price. Any item iwas selling i would list as 10 to sell. I would then list them as a buy it now which would cost me 40 pence to list 10 items. If I had listed 10 items by themselves depending on the price I was selling them at it would have cost alot more.
Before you would put your item on, ebay would tell you how much it will cost in final value fees if you list it as a buy it now. So now you know the fee. After ebay have taken out their fees, paypal then take their fees when the item has been paid for. In my case it was 3/4% + 20p of the whole selling price including p&p.
So after all this, you would then pay your dropshipper for the item sold. Lets say graphics card sold for £39.99p. Instalment fee is 40 pence, final value fee is £3.89p Paypal fee is £1.56p
Total is = £5.85p
Dropshipper charge for graphics card is £24.15p including p&p. Total cost so far is = £30.00 Profit you receive is £9.99 This is just a example of one item. The computer market is one of the hardest areas to make much profit. If you can make 10% you are doing well. Don't forget as well i was paying a monthly fee also. So to recoup my fee i would need to be selling hell of alot. Bear this in mind if you decide to dropship.

Drop Shipping And Dealing With Customers

There is no better feeling than when you sell your first item. When you start to sell more it becomes even better. Then one day a customer sends you a email or calls you to say item hasn't arrived or is broken/damaged or not how you described it. Also they have a 7 day cooling off period where they can return it. Now if you haven't prepared yourself for the customer service side of selling don't start a business. When  you drop ship a item it is you that deals when the customer first. You can't say sorry but you have to phone my supplier imagine how that would go down? Customer service is a essential part of your business, doesn't matter if your Sir Alan Sugar or a small seller on ebay. Get yourself prepared because how you deal with a customer reflects on your business.

I mentioned about the 7 day cooling of period were they could just return it. It is you that will have to refund the customer and not your supplier, so make sure you have enough funds in place for this eventuality. Most of your customers will be genuine but you will eventualy come across someone who will try to scam you. It is all part of selling am afraid so be prepared. I could write a article on customer service but there is plenty of them if you do a google search. At the end of the day its your business so you look after it the best way you can.

You will need to put some "Terms and Conditions" on items you sell. How deal with returns etc. If you google gov.org it will give you the up to date "Distant Selling Regulations" Have a good read as it will help you. Also take a look at ebays advice on how to specify your returns policy.

Pictures Help You Sell

How many have taken a picture and then wondered why your item hasn't sold? Your picture is the first thing any potential buyer will see. That first few seconds are crucial to keeping that buyer looking at your item. The first picture you put on ebay is free after that it could cost you at least 12p a picture. As you will understand you put a extra 4 pictures on there 48p of your potential profit has gone on ebay fees. Take a look around ebay at all the sellers with numerous pictures on they don't cost anything. For one reason they use a service called photobucket (search in google) this is where you can upload pictures from your computer and have them cropped, edited etc. This doesn't cost you 1 penny. You don't need expensive camera's to take a good picture. Shop around or use your mobile phone. Search google for advice on the perfect picture. This all costs nothing but time and effort. The more you keep your costs down the better. As you progress on ebay from small part seller to power seller things become different. There is nothing worst than a buyer clicking on your ebay page looking at the picture and leaving straight away. Don't let this happen to you. A excellent picture = a sale which = money which is what we are all here for.

How To Drop Ship

How to drop ship is a big question and the answer is not for the faint hearted. If you plan of dropshipping a  product that is already saturated in the market place you may as well give up now. Look for a niche and when you think you have found one then research ebay. That is if you plan on selling on there. After checking ebay search google for the niche you plan to drop ship. Doesn't matter  what it is your dropshipping research the market place. Research the drop shipper your going to use doesn't matter if they are in the U.K. or China. Test them out first, are they reliable? do they put their leaflets in your packages to promote themselves and not you? How are they in responding to phone calls or emails? These are questions you should be asking.

How much profit can you make on the item you hope to sell? Don't forget if your selling on ebay you will have to take in to account, 1) listing fee, 2) Final value Fee, 3) Paypal fees. Is it worth your hard work after all this?
If you plan to sell from your own website you will be able to disregard the ebay fees. Also remember to try and get a few reliable drop shippers in case one of them runs out of the product you plan to sell. Don't forget you won't be the only customer on their books. This is how some successful business's have started and then combined drop shipping with wholesale suppliers. You want to be earning a living, if your not don't give up the day job. It could take 3 hard years before you start to see a return.
